Friar's Meadow, Sudbury - on opposite (S) bank of River Stour to meadow, about midway in the meadow (public open space). Standard type 27 pillbox. [Interior access not possible]. All external brick shuttering has gone. Some remains of metal camouflage net supports on roof. One piece steel plates at embrasures. Entrance faces S (S1).

Part of defence works associated with the Colne - Mildenhall stopline (S2).
