Summary

Spigot mortar base of about 3.fft diameter, with remains of two pink-brick bomb alcoves. It now has a thick coating of moss on top and has been planted with bulbs. The edge of the pit is visible.

Full Description

On the E side of the road (the old A134) through Long Melford, in front garden of the 'Hare Inn', to rear of telephone kiosk.

[with site location plan drawn on form]. Spigot mortar base of about 3.fft diameter, with remains of two pink-brick bomb alcoves. It now has a thick coating of moss on top and has been planted with bulbs. The edge of the pit is visible.
