Summary

Large square pillbox, with 2 embrasures per side and an L-shaped blast wall (roofed) with a chamfer on the face to give a better field of fire to the single embrasure in the entrance face. About 15ft square, with concrete or stone slabs set below each embrasure.

S of Friston. Large square pillbox, with 2 embrasures per side and an L-shaped blast wall (roofed) with a chamfer on the face to give a better field of fire to the single embrasure in the entrance face. About 15ft square, with concrete or stone slabs set below each embrasure.

One of 4 Suffolk square pillboxes guarding a road junction on the Snape to Aldeburgh road (S2).
