Full Description
Area of partially surviving historic landscape, Nether Wolfell (see COK 072 for Great Wolfell to the west). Acreware land, suggesting early tenure of farmland including 'sackage' land - (giving grazing rights) and 'campo' names. Defined by local historian Vera Lloyd using various early maps, field names and other documents (her map is held in large hanging cabinet) (S1).
The internal field boundaries have now gone.
