Full Description

A small monitoring was carried out at 22 Orchard Street, Bury St Edmunds during ground works for a new extension to the current building. A section of flint and mortar wall was found below and bonded into the footing of the current property boundary brick wall and the edge of a possible medieval pit was observed in the side of a footing, believed to extend into the property to the north of no. 22 (S1).
