Full Description

King's Grove. Possible ancient woodland with external bank and ditch and water filled semi-circular pond and earthwork mill (?) mound with possible cross-tree depression in middle circular moat on the east side.
Not recorded in Nature Conservancy Council's Inventory of Ancient Woodland (S1) but shown on 1880's map (Tithe not checked). Has irregular boundaries and in form of ancient woodland. Earthworks show on LIDAR images (TL9056 & 9156).
