Full Description

Monitoring revealed a pond that appears on 1880s, 1920s and 1970s Ordnance Survey maps until it was backfilled in the 1980/90s. The pond had been cut through natural deposits. Two distinct fills were recorded: the final 1980/90s fill and an earlier fill dated to the 17th/18th centuries. No other significant archaeological features were recorded (S1).
