Full Description

The site, on the bank of Little Ouse river, is called The Nunnery and was visited by Basil Brown and D Lawrence after a Rom urn with cremation had been found by Cyril Pratt. The site is W of the IA site excavated by R Rainbird Clarke in 1959 on the Norfolk side of the river. Sherds of IA pottery were also found at The Nunnery (S1).
