Summary

Evaluation identified no archaeological features or finds were recorded and the archaeological levels appeared well preserved, however near the northern edge of the site a small domestic air raid shelter was recorded.

Full Description

An evaluation trench was excavated on a site at Pope's Farm Bungalow, Depden Green, in Suffolk. No archaeological features or finds were recorded and the archaeological levels appeared well preserved, despite the presence of tree root disturbance. Near the northern edge of the site a small domestic air raid shelter was recorded.
