Full Description

Human skeleton in grave cut into clay, between high and low water marks of River Deben. Skeleton was crouched, orientated roughly NE - SW, with its head at the NW end, facing E. Maximum depth of grave circa 30 cms - skull had been partially exposed by river erosion. Possibly IA.
Note further skull found to SW - see RMS 026.
