Full Description

Extant milestone visible on the 1st edition Ordnance map (S1). The milestone is one of a series of milestones on the A12. The milestone is inscribed ‘Frostenden to London 104, Ipswich 33, Saxmundham, Yarmouth 19, Lowestoft’. The milestone is set back into the hedge of a layby. The layby follows the original route of the road (S2).
