Full Description

An Early Neolithic side scrapper and piece of debitage were recovered from an unstratified context of an evaluation trench. The un-patinated flakes were manufactured from very dark grey, near black, raw flint with a thin slightly pitted white cortex that suggests it was sourced from local gravel deposits (S1).
