Full Description

Large post mill with a three-storey roundhouse, said to have ben 55 feet high. It was moved from near Sapiston watermill before 1837 and was demolished c. 1895. The roundhouse remains converted into a house. There were four patent sails, a fantail, and three pairs of stones (S1). Visible on the 1st edition OS map (S2).
