Full Description
1970s: A Roman mosaic was discovered during building work in the 1970s. It was concreted over and not recorded. The building was was said to be 'to the rear of the kitchen' on property between 'Green Shutters and Abbotts Close Cottage' (S1).
The site lies within the Roman settlement area (See LMD 172).
