Full Description

2013: Geophysical survey revealed parallel straight double ditch type anomalies and perpendicular linear ditched enclosures which could suggest a substantial field system or possible Roman "ladder" settlement. One of the linear features could be a Roman road. A rectangular or possibly an oval anomaly was also recorded that could be a building structure or a barrow (S1).

See EXG 102 for results of the evaluation which identified a number of Iron Age and Roman features, including a road and artefact evidence suggesting a Roman building close by.
