Full Description

A probable Bronze Age round barrow site is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 2005. The site is roughly centred at TL 7197 5974 and comprises a circular ring-ditch which probably defines a Bronze Age funerary monument such as a round barrow (S1).
Ringditch, cropmark, 20-25m diam, seen by farmer and detectorist for first time (Aug-Sep 2011) in extremely dry conditions (S2).
