Full Description

Romano-Saxon pottery sherds in the British Museum (S1). A small red Rom jar with Anglo-Saxon ornamentation (dot and circle) was found at Felixstowe. Moore suggests that one ornamentation may possibly have been due to Saxon influence. Probably Much Hadham ware.
