Monument record WHR 074 - OUTLINE RECORD: RESERVOIR SITE - EVAL (CAT)

2010: An evaluation in advance of the construction of a 2.2ha agricultural reservoir revealed eleven features of which only three were dated (generally by very small quantities of finds): one Roman pit, one medieval field ditch, and one post-medieval field ditch. Shared alignment may indicate that another ditch was post-medieval; the remaining six features were undated. Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2010 (S1). Full report to follow.
