Full Description
Human skull reported by Suffolk Police 05/09/1994.
Found by digger driver while moving soil. No other bones seen.
Skull identified as female by pathologist. Good condition. Teeth worn, no dentistry. Soil still attsached to skull was sandy.
Findspot visited 21/09/1994 by Edward Martin and K. Sussams. Spoke with digger driver. Actual findspot had been quarried away, but broadly simiar section observed 50m to South west.
Position and condition of the skull suggests that it might be prehistoric, possibly Iron Age (S1).
