Full Description

October 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Undated linear earthwork banks are visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2) on land to the east of Oak Hill, Hollesley. It is possible that these features relate to former cultivation such as ridge and furrow although they may be former boundary banks.
A possible World War Two water tower was also visible in this field (S3) at TM 3677 4534 but this has not been recorded separately since it was unclear whether this related to any military activity.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 29th October 2015.
