Full Description
Roman road (part of). Margary 34b, Coddenham - Peasenhall (S1). Continues from Framlingham 013 & Saxtead 002 to Ashfield cum Thorpe 004 mainly as existing road.
1969: Layer of large flints 6-9 inches thick, 25 to 30 feet wide. Probably the Rom road from Coddenham. Seen in a trench at TM 2368 6341 by East Suffolk Area Surveyor.
