Full Description
June 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Undated linear and curvilinear ditches are visible as faint cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S3) between an area of World War Two anti-glider ditches on land to the east of Sutton Walks.
It was difficult to be certain about the nature of these features, since they were only clearly visible on one set of World War Two photographs (S1), and it is possible that they relate to post medieval or earlier tracks or boundaries, but they may also relate to World War Two activity. The features were mapped from an imperfectly rectified image, and their location must also be viewed with some caution.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 18th June 2015.
