Full Description

August 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Undated cropmarks of extensive linear trackways are visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3) on Sutton Common. They are visible cut by the World War Two anti-aircraft ditches (SHER SUT 214). It is possible that some or all of these features relate to World War Two activity or training related to the Woodbridge training area (SHER SUT 250), but they may also be earlier in date.
