Full Description

February 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Two probable Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on Lidar imagery (S1) on land to the south of Dunwich Forest, Westleton. They have been recorded with a note of caution, however, since they are not clearly visible on the contemporary Second World War aerial photographs, but have been mapped due to their similarity with other bomb crater features in the area (SHER WLN 081).
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 5th February 2015.
