Full Description

Late medieval and later copper alloy, silver and gilt artefact scatter; metal detector finds at Whittingham Hall.

Comprises: one silvered copper alloy mount, one post medieval copper alloy belt mount, a post medieval or recent gilded copper alloy ?pendant, three silver sixpences of Elizabeth I (dated 1574, 1580 and 1580) and one silver shilling of James VI of Scotland (who reigned as such 1567-1603; Act of Union 1603-1625) (S1).
