Full Description
2015: An open service trench, located at the southern end of Tower Street, Ipswich, was observed by Tom Loader. A medieval wall, running parallel with the adjacent building (H&M), was noted. The wall appeared to be running parallel with the west wall of H&M (shop unit fronting the east side of Tower Street and north side of Tavern Street); the west face of the wall being at 2.6m to the west of this building. The exposure of wall was located some 12m back from the junction of Tower Street and Tavern Street.
