Full Description
1991-1992: Monitoring carried out on the Pettistree Area mains replacement pipeline revealed a scatter consisting a flint flake, two medieval body sherds and an iron spur of post medieval date. A thin scatter of burnt clay fragments along 30 metres of the pipeline, but no features visible (S1). See CLO 051 for concentration of early medieval coarsware.
