Full Description
1991-1992: Monitoring carried out on the Pettistree Area mains replacement pipeline revealed a scatter of Romano-British pottery and medieval courseware on the surface. After stripping, more Roman sherds were revealed, although no features were visible. In the remainder of the field, only 3 flakes and 2 body sherds of Medieval coarseware were seen (S1).
