Summary

The site of a possible round barrow is visible as a soilmark on aerial photographs on land to the north of Broom Covert, Butley. This feature may relate to one or more of the ‘three large ring ditches’ described in SHER BUT 011, but has been recorded separately as it was unclear.

April 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The site of a possible round barrow is visible as a soilmark on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2) on land to the north of Broom Covert, Butley. This feature may relate to one or more of the ‘three large ring ditches’ described in SHER BUT 011, but has been recorded separately as it was unclear.
