Summary

Undated linear ditches are visible as (now levelled) earthworks and soilmarks on aerial photographs on land to the east of Church Road, Butley. It is likely that they relate to post medieval drainage ditches.

April 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Undated linear ditches are visible as (now levelled) earthworks and soilmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2) on land to the east of Church Road, Butley.
They may, at least in part, be a continuation of features recorded to the south (SHER CSA 035). It is likely that they relate to post medieval drainage ditches.
