Full Description
May 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Three undated possible earthwork mounds are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery (S1) on land within Rendlesham Forest, Capel St Andrew. They may relate to Bronze Age burial mounds, or perhaps to Medieval to Post Medieval rabbit warren pillow mounds, but they have been recorded with a note of caution since they were only visible on Lidar imagery, and it was not possible to be certain that they were archaeological in nature without further ground survey work.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 6th May 2015.
