Full Description

17th to 18th century pottery, brick and tile was identified during a site visit. The Owner discovered a brick foundation/path during gardening work close to the South West Corner of the barn. The area measured 1.5m sq. and comprised 18th to Early 19th Century Suffolk white bricks with border on the South side made up of Large flints. Appears to be an East-West Path running along southern side of later 17/18 Century? Barn. They are too loosely laid and most re-used so very unlikely to be a foundation. The Garden beds also examined in area with 17th to 18th Century Pottery, Brick and Tile being identified (S1).
