Full Description

A single-arched bridge, "on the skew" of fine-quality brickwork, with stone cappings to the terminal-piers of the parapet. Probably early C19, but a good specimen of its simple and dignified kind. Unaltered save for the rebuilding of one parapet-terminal (S1).
1991: Built about 1830. Kept in good state of repair. Said to have been damaged in 1987 gale, one section looks newer than the rest (S2).
