Full Description

Roman bronze cosmetic grinder, mortar, corroded. End loop type, broken loop, plain, broad shallow profile. The interior has a central groove, probably one to wear. This combined with abrasion to the exterior post-deposition, has resulted in a hole in the thin base. Length: 71mm. Width: 12.5mm. Central height: 6mm.
