Full Description
2014: An archaeological excavation carried out on the former site of No.1 High Street revealed medieval cellar walls and foundations associated with the medieval building that existed on the site. An 18th century barrel chute and 18th century wall were also identified. A sherd of Roman pottery was found along with medieval and post medieval pottery and ceramic material (S1).
