Full Description

A buried soil was encountered during an archaeological evaluation. Micromorphological analysis tentatively concluded the presence of two buried soil horizons, each with underlying subsoils, and each some 10-13cm thick. Anthropogemic material including charred wood, possible debitage, and an earthen material of unknown origin were identified. The lower soil horizon may correspond to a previously identified prehistoric soil (S1)
