Linear ditches, which may represent field boundaries, trackways and possible enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on land to the east of Schillings Farm, Hollesley.

Full Description

November 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Linear ditches, which may represent field boundaries, trackways and possible enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3) on land to the east of Schillings Farm, Hollesley. It was difficult to be certain of the extent of the archaeology, as some of the features mapped may represent agricultural or geological marks.

The cropmarks described above are also clearly visible on aerial photograph (S6). The site has also been extended to the north to incorporate rather vague and fragmentary linear cropmarks visible on aerial photograph (S7).
