Full Description

October 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Cropmarks of linear ditches and a possible trackway are visible on aerial photographs (S1) to the north of Longwalk Plantation, Sutton. These features are undated, but may relate to World War Two vehicle tracks. However, there was a great deal of ‘lodging’ in the crop visible on the aerial photograph, and it was therefore difficult to be certain about the extent of the archaeological features within this field.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 15th October 2015.
