Full Description
Length of road, 1750m long, last 400m to N uncertain alignment. Formerly thought to continue as RGH 016 to N though this now seen as Post Medieval enclosure road only. Possibly heading for Stanton Chare villa site. Section dug at TL 9233 5930, road 7m wide, ditched on each side (S1)(S2). Stream bed hardened in line with this to form a ford (S3).
Notes of a survey and excavation undertaken of the road from October 1973 to February 1974 (S4).
