Full Description

February 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
An area of earthworks relating to possible post medieval water meadows was identified in this area by an earlier survey of aerial photographs and during a site visit in 2001 (S1). These were not identified by the survey. Although some earthwork features possibly related to water management were identified, these did not conform to the pattern typical of water meadow sites. As a consequence, no features were mapped at this site. In Norfolk, the suggested water meadows are recorded as NHER 37353.
