Monument record WNG 057 - Possible braided trackways in Brandon and Wangford warrens

Please read our .

Summary

A group of possible braided trackways, of unknown date, are visible as earthworks on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey. They appear to cross from the southern corner of Brandon Warren (SHER BRD 082) into Wangford Warren (SHER WNG 068). Their identification as trackways, however, is not certain; the section within Wangford Warren in particular could instead be a natural geomorphological feature. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the earthworks still survive.
