Full Description
Monitoring of ground works identified a shallow layer or small Roman feature at the base of one of the foundation trenches. 20 moderately large and unabraded pottery sherds of mid/late 2nd to early 3rd century AD were recovered from the upcast spoil originating from the area of this layer/feature (S1).
