Full Description

Circa 1783: Marked on Hodskinson's Suffolk
Round barrow (site of), at junction of Martlesham, Brightwell and Waldringfield.
1935: Small bowl (R1).
1962: No trace remains of barrow. The land has been under the plough in recent years. Grid reference given as TM 2576 4456 (S1).
Area is now a quarry.
