Full Description

Anchorite recorded at Bury St. Edmunds, mentioned/referred to as 'cheyne' by R. M. Clay (S1). A. Gransden also mentions an anchorite, referred to as 'a man in the 15th century' - this could very possibly be the same person (S2).
