One of the Medieval hermitages/anchorite cells in Suffolk, taken from the register of the Abbey of Bury St. Edmunds (S1) (S2). The exact location and details remain unknown.

The location of the site is listed as 'Newtone' which may refer to Newton or Old Newton?, with another reference to the site listed at Dagworth (see ONW 035) (S1) (S2).
