Full Description
2018: Fieldwalking undertaken as part of the Shifting Sands HLF project identified anti-landing ditches of WW2 date. Features were created over large parts of the former heathlands in East Anglia to guard against airborne invasion, the majority of which have been filled in and are n longer visible. Extant and open examples such as these area rare. (S1)
