Full Description
Moat. Fragments, one side only complete. Occupied, isolated, close to parish boundary.
The timber-framed aisled hall house at the site dates to c.1500, with the east bay being of very high quality and containing carved figures. The west bay was rebuilt in the 16th C and a another range was built at right angles to the original house.
A 16th C timber-framed barn in also present at the site, which has a moulded mid rail on the side facing the house (S1).
