Monument record WRW 091 - Possible undated mounds.

Please read our .

Summary

Two possible undated mounds are seen as earthworks on visualised lidar data. The features are seen as low earthworks on the visualised lidar data (from a survey flow in 2015) and may possibly relate to Bronze Age Barrows. However the features may also relate to either natural features or products of modern forestry. The southern mound is cut by a modern forestry track. The possible mounds are approximately 250m to the south east of a probable Bronze Age Barrow (WRW 007) and are in close proximity to a group of possible Second World War or forestry features (WRW 092).
