Full Description

1984: Flint tranchet axe, 19.7cm long, blade 4.7cm wide, butt 3cm wide, 2.5cm thick, light creamy-brown patination, perfect sharp cutting edge. Found whilst digging in the bank at the rear of the moat-like pond to the rear of the farmhouse, (S1).
