Full Description

Moat. Fragment only, occupied (R1).

At Brockford Hall is a long cutting with a broadened part, which once formed a side of a moat. (The Hall is of no interest). (2)

Brockford Hall (nameplate) is possibly 16 th century, but heavily restored in the 19th century. Not outstanding.

The water feature to the east of the hall appears to be an ornamental enlargement of the natural stream course. No further arms of a moat was found.
